Now that Australia is getting cold lately, Then the ideas keeping pop into my head Should I knitting something to keep me and me children's warm, But what kids of knit I should knit that would be able to be easy and fast enough to catch up with this season? Here the ideas starting to shine while I out for shopping ( Yarns and wools of cause ) walked down pathway I saw a cute beanie. Therefore my inspiration started Stitch Plait hat auspicious I manner to knit this cute hat for my Children's this hat will be suit 0-6 year old.

You will need
8Ply Wool I used 100% Acrylic wool
Knitting Needles size 5.00mm OR  6 UK ,8 US
Cable Needle

Using 6.00 mm cast on 90 sts RIB 2X2 for 8 rows increase 5sts in last row(95sts)

Work in Bubble Gum Pattern for 6 Times 72 Rows Decrease 1 st in last row

Rib 2X2 for 10 Rows
Cast off 10 Sts leave 7 Sts into pin  and then cast off 26 Sts leave 7 Sts into pin cast off all stitch.

Straps ( Make 2 )
Put 7 Sts from pin onto knitting needles (I using 4.00 mm UK8) rejoin yarn.
Now Garter Stitch ( Knit every row) for 50 Rows ( or your desired length)  Cast off
Repeat Another Strap
Before stitching side seam together pick up along leg opening
Picking up 48 Sts and Rib 2X2 for 6 rows then Cast off Repeat another leg

Stitch together side seam and add buttons weave in ends.

Change to 3.75mm and work in pattern inc one st each end every 4th row, taking inc sts into pattern until 43 sts

Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows.

With 3.00 mm and rejoin yarn to 5 sts on safety pin , work in rib making 3 more buttonholes the first 4.5 cm from buttonhole that already made and2 more the same distance apart.

Work a further and leave sts on holder for neck band. 

Do the same for other side band

Neck band

Join raglan seams.

With right side of work facing rib across sts on right front band, pick up and k 12 sts up right front neck,k across sts on sleeve tops and back neck holder,pick up and k 12 sts down left front neck and rib across sts on left front band 65sts

Work 4 rows in rib making buttonhole on the 2nd row.

Cast off in rib.
